The design philosophy of David Riebe Architecture is founded on the belief that architecture is not the result of a repeated and at times perfected ‘STYLE” but that each project has a unique design solution that is the product of many influences such as site and land, program, environment, users, budget, and codes and regulations.

Each and every project is a full collaboration between the client and DRA, during which time there is a consistent ongoing dialog that helps guide the development of the project. We also team with the most inventive consultants as required to responsibly ensure the complete success of even the most ambitious designs.

In addition to the full architecture services available, we also offer design build, in which there is a consolidation of architect and general contractor. At times this model is the preferable solution as it helps to expedite the project schedule, and also lends to the economic efficiency of the project as well.

Of the many projects David Riebe Architecture has realized over the years several have been in collaboration with other architects and artists. Currently much of the the institutional work is being developed under the firm name Mistur Riebe Architects, which is a partnership between David Riebe and Mark Mistur.
